Susy Visits Pt. 1

March 15, 2010

The first day we decided to take the Turquoise Trail to Santa Fe. We stopped in Madrid, an old mining town, where we explored a bit and got coffee from Java Junction.  Next we drove through the ghost town of Cerrillos and ended up looking at all the dusty antiques in the What Not Shop.

Once in Santa Fe we walked around the plaza and stopped in the Andrew Smith Gallery, which has a great collection of prints from both local and internationally recognized artists.

They had a few pieces from Hulleah J. Tsinhnahjinnie’s 2003 series, Portraits Against Amnesia. Love her work.
